The MoneyHeave Community Project
Empowering Communities for Economic Equality and Wellbeing
What We Do
The MoneyHeave Community Project (TMCP) works to break down barriers to economic equality, improve overall wellbeing, and promote healthier financial habits.
We focus on empowering and educating young people and adults about money. Through relatable and accessible initiatives, we help individuals take control of their financial and mental wellbeing.
Why Financial Education Matters
In today’s digital age, physical money is less common. This shift has affected how many people perceive money’s worth, especially among young people. Technology has made transactions easier, but the lack of physical money has changed many people’s perception of its value. This is why financial education is so important to aid an individual’s prospects.
This goes hand-in-hand with the effects on mental health – feelings of worthlessness, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Money and Mental Health.
The Impact of Mental Health
Policy Institute states that over 420,000 people in problem debt consider taking their own lives in England each year.
Results signify that the lack of understanding when it comes to financial literacy has led to poor financial decisions generating early debt – Young Enterprise (2021) collated data showing that 52% of teenagers have been in debt by the time they are 17.
Our services and products include research, events, coaching, discussions, courses, workshops, workbooks and digital resources. We strive to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions and shift behaviours.

Our Approach
At MoneyHeave, we know that financial wellbeing is about more than just crunching numbers. Our approach focuses on:
Communication
With a core audience of 18-30 year olds, we break down complex financial topics into simple, engaging, and practical guidance that resonates with real-life experiences. Our approach isn’t one-size-fits-all; we tailor our content to meet the specific needs of our audience.
A Holistic View of Money
Financial wellbeing isn’t just about budgeting and saving. We address the mental, emotional, physical, and social aspects of financial health, helping people build a more balanced relationship with money.
Flexible & Accessible
We adapt to the needs of the people we serve, not just traditional working hours. A recent survey found that 80% of our users preferred in-person sessions in the evening, so we structure our programmes to meet them where they are.
A Safe Space
Talking about money can be intimidating, but we create a supportive environment where people can have honest conversations without fear, shame, or penalisation.
Inclusive Representation
As a diverse team, we ensure our programmes reflect and connect with underrepresented communities.
